Helping coaches and parents support athlete focus, confidence and self-regulation - led by Sean Flikke, Mental Health Counselor and Coach
Meet Coach Flikke
I’m Sean Flikke - youth sports coach and Mental Health Counselor.
I work with coaches and parents who are trying to figure out how to support athletes who need more than traditional coaching. The players who:
• Struggle to focus
• Shut down after mistakes
• Act out during practice
• Lose confidence quickly
• Or just don’t seem to “fit” the system These are not “problem players.” They’re athletes who need a different approach. My work sits at the intersection of mental health and athletic performance, helping you handle the moments that matter most - so more kids succeed in sports and in life.

What Coaches Are Saying
“Prior to our talk, he was easily distracted and disengaged. Using (the tools) you suggested has brought him into every team discussion!" - Coach D.
"Using tools from you and Coach Ballgame, his effort is through the roof! He's far mare engaged...and his skills are showing a lot of improvement" -Coach McK.
"I couldn't be more proud of these two but there are other stories where techniques and topics we covered are working (outside of baseball too)!" - Coach D.
You Don’t Have to Figure This Out AloneLike parenting, the hardest moments in coaching are the ones no one prepares you for.
But those are the moments that define you as a coach.Let’s work through them - together.
